What God Has Been Teaching Me Lately XXX (30)…

Greetings My Friends~

As a simple pilgrim following Jesus through the rainforests and deserts of this earthly life, I would like to humbly share some of what God has been bubbling up in my mind/heart lately.

I pray that these thoughts are cushions in your shoes, balm to your burns, umbrellas for the rain, and shade to the scorching heat as you too follow the Lord Jesus each day.

Prayer

A. God, please help me to say “no” to more of the good activities of earth
so i have time to say “yes” to more of the great activities of heaven (Luke 10:38-42).

.
B. God, please help us not to be caught in the undertoe of the culture
but rather to ride the tidal wave of Your Holy Spirit (Romans 12:1-2).

.
C. Holy Spirit, please control not only our verbal words but also our

typed,
texted,
tweeted and
thought words

so that they love You & all others (Ephesians 4:29).

.
D. Lord Jesus, please fill me up with Your Holy Spirit so that
when life moves smoothly He flows out &
when life collides into me He spills out
in worship to You &
love to all.

In Your name i pray, amen…

Never Give Up

A. When you find life is constantly uphill,
let’s be like Jesus & keep going–the view will eventually be amazing! (Hebrews 12:1-2)
.
B. May we ponder where God is leading us
(place: heaven; character: being like Jesus; relationship: knowing Jesus more deeply)
because this will help us to persevere/endure the route He’s using to get us there (suffering)
(Hebrews 12:1-3).
