God’s Blueprint for Surviving Anything…

Notice the title is not, “God’s Blueprint for Making Problems Disappear.” God sometimes calms the storm, but He often chooses to carry you THROUGH the storm.

Psalm 71:19-22

Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens.

You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?

 

[Focusing on the unchanging goodness/character of God in the midst of the shaky/changing aspects of life]

You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again;

from the depths of the earth You will bring me up again.

You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.

 

[Remembering/trusting that/living each day as if God sees the suffering that you are going through, God is Personally with you in the pits that surround you, and God WILL eventually bring you out of them; your life won’t always be this difficult/painful/overwhelming!]

I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God.

 

[Closing with praising God ahead of time for the good that God has yet to do (this is true faith–asking for rain and then carrying an umbrella even when the sun is shining)].
